The Romanian Film Festival & Discussion Forum at Stanford University, UC Berkeley and San Francisco State University is organized by a group of film scholars and film aficionados dedicated to presenting the complex and vibrant culture of Romania to the American audiences.
We have made this festival free and open to the public in order to make this experience available to as many people as possible. The festival’s team works entirely on a volunteer basis devoting time and effort to making this event possible.
We are fortunate to have wonderful sponsors who have helped cover much of the expenses, but we still need additional support. If you would like to help the festival and make a donation, please send checks to:
CASA ROMANA, 26050 KAY AVE, HAYWARD, CA 94545. Please specify that your donation is to be used for the Romanian Film Festival. Your generosity will be acknowledged in the festival’s program.
Thank you for your consideration and we hope that you enjoy the films!
